Student Government

United Tribes Technical College (UTTC) recognizes the importance of the student’s voice and encourages the participation of students in the student government. The Student Government Association (SGA) is comprised of representatives from each of the academic programs. Elections from the membership at large are held annually for the following offices: student body president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.

The SGA has an annual budget and two advisors.

The SGA is the governing and legislative board of the student body. It serves as the primary representative of the student interests in policy formation and as an intermediary between the administration, student body, and faculty. The SGA also serves to represent the UTTC students as members of the campus and Bismarck/Mandan communities.

Meetings are open to students, faculty, and staff on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Student Union upper level in the Wellness Center , at noon.
