<p><strong>Summary Of Duties:</strong><br />
 <ul>
<li>Greet children, parents, and staff in a friendly manner and maintains a good working relationship with parents.</li>
<li>Maintain a positive and constant interaction with the children.</li>
<li>Assist in serving breakfast, lunch, and snack to the children daily.</li>
<li>Assist children during activities that are appropriate to their age and development using a variety of creative materials.</li>
<li>Responsible for weekly lesson plans.</li>
<li>Evaluates and records children’s progress.</li>
<li>Helps children develop social-emotional and self-help skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work with children ranging from infants and toddlers to preschool.  May be assigned from one center to another as the need arises.</li>
<li>Certify hours of county – approved training hours.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
</p>
<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong> None.</p>
<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong><br />
 <ul>
<li>Normal working hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (with possibility of working outside normal hours)</li>
<li>Monday through Friday.</li>
<li>One-hour unpaid lunch break.</li>
<li>Additional hours may be required.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong><br />

<li>Must be able to lift at least 40lbs.</li>
<li>Must be able to perform activities that require you to sit on the floor.</li>
<li>Requires lifting, stooping, crawling, and bending.</li>
<li>Be able to perform daily cleaning duties.</li>
<li>There may be a possibility of coming in contact with communicable diseases and a possibility of reporting child abuse and neglect.</li>

<li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Experience with children.</li>
<li>Applicants must successfully pass a background check.</li>

<li>Participates in family-style breakfast, lunch and snack with the children daily.</li>
<li>Attends and participate in staff meeting, training sessions and planning activities.</li>

<p><strong>Summary Of Duties:</strong><br />
 <ul>
<li>Coordinate with the directors, department chairs and faculty to develop processes that promote academic innovation and improved service to all students, campus-based, online and dual credit.</li>
<li>Analyze and evaluate instructional areas and foster a culture of continuous improvement to ensure curriculum and instructional integrity.</li>
<li>Serve as chair of the Curriculum Committee.</li>
<li>Support academic departments in a manner that promotes excellence in instructional methods, technology, and effective pedagogies that enhance student learning.</li>
<li>Provide leadership in generating staff development opportunities for faculty and staff.</li>
<li>Coordinate staff development opportunities with the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Director for faculty and staff in CTE programs.</li>
<li>Work with department chairs and faculty to support a variety of methods of instruction (campus-based and online) that engage all students and impact student learning to meet course objectives.</li>
<li>Mentor faculty in effective academic advising strategies, including the implementation of the Early Alert System.</li>
<li>Employ appropriate techniques and strategies to resolve disputes and to enhance communication and cooperation among the personnel in the assigned departments.</li>
<li>Evaluate the performance of assigned department chairs, faculty, adjuncts and other personnel in conformance with appropriate policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Collaborate with department chairs to ensure course and program articulation agreements are initiated and maintained.</li>
<li>Facilitate preparation of fall, spring and summer course schedules and faculty assignments for all areas.</li>
<li>Provide leadership for academic program reviews, annual program review updates, and action plans.</li>
<li>Maintain membership on the Institutional Effectiveness Committee.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

<li>Five (5) continuous years of academic advising experience at the post-secondary level required.</li>

<li>Provide administrative support to the Science and Technology Center (STC) Department Chairs, Instructional Designer, and Dean of Instruction in compiling data, composing reports in regards to statistical data, grant fiscal management, and accreditation documents as requested.</li>
<li>Type correspondence, memos, letters, reports, purchase requisitions, and other documents per request of the Academic Affairs Department Chairs and Dean of Instruction located in the STC and the Instruction Designer.</li>
<li>Greet and accompany visitors to appropriate department personnel; directs phone calls to appropriate faculty and staff.</li>
<li>Attend meetings, record proceedings, take minutes, and type reports as requested, with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.</li>
<li>Schedules appointments, airline schedules, travel requisitions for STC faculty, Instructional Designer and Dean of Instruction, as requested.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Finance Department staff with grant budget and reporting, expense requests, purchase orders, and travel required documentation.</li>
<li>Assist STC Department Chairs, Instructional Designer, and Dean of Instruction in recording and tracking budget expenditures and allocations.</li>
<li>Serves as primary point of contact and liaison with other departments, individuals, and external agencies and vendors on a range of issues.</li>
<li>Supports in the coordination of classroom and special event scheduling.</li>
<li>Assists in coordination, control, and completion of special projects as requested.</li>
<li>Maintains office supply inventory, and organizes and updates files.</li>
<li>Delivers paperwork to various campus offices, as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain the organization of the STC Student Lounge, computer lab, breakroom, and designated storage rooms.</li>
<li>Facilitate all incoming mail; sort and distribute.</li>
<li>Perform all other related work delegated or required to accomplish the objectives of the college.</li>

<li>Knowledge of American Indian Tribes, cultures, and histories desirable.</li>

<li>Must have knowledge of office administration with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.</li>
<li>Utilizes knowledge and understanding of operational management to assist in administrative problem solving.</li>

<li>The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the Women’s Basketball Program relative to his/her sport</li>
<li>Recruiting-actively recruiting student-athletes on an on-going basis</li>
<li>Team Management-keeping stats updated with the NJCAA, maintaining an official book, maintaining copies of game film</li>
<li>Media Relations-reporting of scores following each contest</li>
<li>Study Tables-monitor study tables for student-athletes</li>
<li>Meal Prep and Order-when conflicting cafeteria schedules coincide with practice</li>
<li>The Assistant Coach is under the direct supervision of the Head Coach regarding all coaching duties.</li>
<li>Must comply with the policies and procedures set forth by the NJCAA, and Mon-Dak Conference.</li>
<li>Must be able to maintain discipline of the student-athletes.</li>
<li>Helps in the transporting of athletes to and from scheduled away games.</li>

<p><strong>Summary Of Duties:</strong><br />
 <ul>
<li>Preschool teacher paraeducator works with preschool ECH Teacher and children who have enrolled in FACE.  The co-teacher/paraprofessional assists the Preschool teacher in providing a strong learning environment where preschool children can develop and thrive. </li>
<li>Will work cooperatively with the FACE Early Childhood Teacher to provide opportunities for parent and children to strengthen the parent and child relationship.</li>
<li>Helps maintains up-to-date files on each student. Contributes to required monthly reports, end-of-year report and data collection.</li>
<li>Assists with  screening services for children and referral services as indicated.</li>
<li>Plans and participates in Parent and Child Together time (PACT).</li>
<li>Spends a minimum of 2 1/2 hours each day in educational instruction that include all required elements of the FACE program routine.</li>
<li>Assists in the Implements NCFL CIRCLES: A Culturally Appropriate Preschool Curriculum for American Indian Children in the early childhood classroom.  Utilizes BIE FACE Preschool Standards.</li>
<li>Meets weekly with the FACE team to plan and evaluate program services.</li>
<li>Helps with monthly Parent Group meetings, FACE family circle meetings. </li>
<li>Reports to the FACE Teacher for all matters of importance to the FACE program.</li>
<li>Works toward National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation for the program.</li>
<li>Provide a learning environment that is full of learning opportunities which reflecks the language and culture of the families.</li>
<li>Attends meetings as needed.</li>
<li>Participates on committees.</li>
<li>Supervises children in preparing for lunch and in the cafeteria.</li>
<li>Oversees children on the playgrounds during recess/noon hour.</li>
<li>Willing to attend professional development opportunities to increase job</li>
<li>Meets other requirements as a staff member of the school.</li>
<li>Reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work.</li>

<li>Obtained a working knowledge in reading, mathematics, and writing by completing two years of study (48 semester hours) at an accredited institution of higher education, or</li>
<li>Obtained an associates (or higher) degree, or</li>
<li>Met a rigorous and objective standard of quality, which includes a North Dakota approved assessment of skills in reading, mathematics, and writing</li>
</ul>
<p>Individuals holding a North Dakota educator’s professional license meet the requirments under ESSA and the teaching license number could be used in lieu of the paraprofessional certificate of completion number.</p>

<li>Conducts and schedules new hire orientation and interviews.</li>
<li>Communicate with all applicants’ regarding position, selection, or non-selection of a position.</li>
<li>Responsible for contacting drug-testing facility for new hire drug testing(s).</li>
<li>Enters new hire and selection information upon receipt.</li>
<li>Responsible for I-9 employee eligibility completion and collection of proper forms or ID’s.</li>
<li>Responsible to maintain all applications, from acceptance to hiring.</li>
<li>Participate and assist the HR team on training&#8217;s campus wide for all staff within the UTTC organization: through development and implementation of training, manuals, and orientations. <strong>  </strong></li>

<p><strong>Status:</strong> Non-exempt; Full-time Temporary</p>
<p><strong>Salary:</strong> $21.28 - $27.77 </p>
<p><strong>Summary Of Duties:</strong><br />
 <p>Provide COVID-19 related services to students, families, and UTTC employees to facilitate prevention, mitigation, and monitoring of the coronavirus with an aim to reduce transmission of the virus, respond to positive cases, and follow up with those requiring care.  In addition, this position will support the work and caseload of the Student Health Center Coordinator when directed to provide responsive nursing care to UTTC students and their families.</p>
<ul>
<li>Nursing assessment and examination of students and/or their dependents specific to the COVID-19 pandemic (e.g., rapid antigen testing); may also be assigned to general nursing duties to include dressing changes, response to acute illness or injuries, and obtaining baseline vital signs with necessary medical referrals and follow-up appointments to local health, dental, eye clinics or hospitals while maintaining confidentiality.</li>
<li>Assist the Coordinator in the ordering and administering of vaccines/immunizations; input records on the ND state system (THOR).</li>
<li>Maintain and perform general infection control measures of self, exam rooms and offices; maintain and promote general safety practices pertaining to blood borne pathogens and sharps handling and disposal, as well as biohazard materials and expired medications.</li>
<li>Remain current and adhere to legal requirements that affect students in higher education, i.e., FERPA, HIPAA, ADA, and/or all governing guidelines related to the UTTC community.</li>
<li>Prepare and submit accurate reports, documentation, correspondence, and Health Education awareness &amp; Disease Prevention in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Actively participate in the “high risk” crisis management team that provides holistic services in meeting the individual need(s) of the student and in support of their family system.</li>
<li>Dispense over-the-counter medications (OTC) per standing orders of the Student Health Center Medical Standing Orders manual and provide, if necessary, authorization slips to students and/or their dependents to obtain prescriptions from a local pharmacy.</li>
<li>Arrange transportation services for students who require medical attention at a Bismarck medical facility or to the nearest Indian Health Service Clinic.</li>
<li>Perform glucose monitoring, dipstick urinalysis, point-of-care CLIA waived screening, and pregnancy tests as needed.</li>
<li>Perform vision, dental, and (scoliosis grades 5-8) screenings of preschool and elementary children with referrals if necessary.</li>
<li>Perform CPR/First Aid/AED services on an emergency basis.</li>
<li>Assist the Coordinator in performing inventory and ordering of all health center supplies when directed.</li>
<li>May be asked to assist with transporting student and/or their dependents to medical appointments locally or at Ft. Yates, ND; assure that all passengers are properly secured in car seats and/or seat belts.</li>
<li>Help accrue data for monthly reports to include number of transports per month, number of patients per month, number of no shows, Covid-related documentation, and other data as determined by the Student Health Coordinator.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
</p>
<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong> None</p>
<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong><br />
 <ul>
<li>Normal working hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5 p.m.</li>
<li>Monday through Friday</li>
<li>One-hour unpaid lunch break</li>
<li>Two, 10-minute paid breaks</li>
<li>General office nurse conditions</li>
<li>May need to work additional hours as the need arises</li>
</ul>
</p>
<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong><br />
 <ul>
<li>Ability to lift to 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Bending, standing, and walking across campus when needed</li>
</ul>
</p>
<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong><br />
 <ul>
<li>A graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program</li>
<li>Current North Dakota LPN license</li>
<li>CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor Certified or obtained within 3 months of hire</li>
<li>Applicant must have a valid ND driver&#8217;s license in good standing and must be able to supply verification of driver&#8217;s record from the ND Department of Motor Vehicles.</li>
</ul>
</p>
<p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills:</strong><br />
 <ul>
<li>Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency medical situations</li>
<li>Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience preferred</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team</li>
<li>Strong decision-making skills and follow through; ability to work independently</li>
<li>Knowledge of nursing procedures; computer literacy in Word and case management/medical software</li>
</ul>
