<p><strong>Summary Of Duties:</strong><br />
 <ul>
<li>Preschool teacher paraeducator works with preschool ECH Teacher and children who have enrolled in FACE.  The co-teacher/paraprofessional assists the Preschool teacher in providing a strong learning environment where preschool children can develop and thrive. </li>
<li>Will work cooperatively with the FACE Early Childhood Teacher to provide opportunities for parent and children to strengthen the parent and child relationship.</li>
<li>Helps maintains up-to-date files on each student. Contributes to required monthly reports, end-of-year report and data collection.</li>
<li>Assists with  screening services for children and referral services as indicated.</li>
<li>Plans and participates in Parent and Child Together time (PACT).</li>
<li>Spends a minimum of 2 1/2 hours each day in educational instruction that include all required elements of the FACE program routine.</li>
<li>Assists in the Implements NCFL CIRCLES: A Culturally Appropriate Preschool Curriculum for American Indian Children in the early childhood classroom.  Utilizes BIE FACE Preschool Standards.</li>
<li>Meets weekly with the FACE team to plan and evaluate program services.</li>
<li>Helps with monthly Parent Group meetings, FACE family circle meetings. </li>
<li>Reports to the FACE Teacher for all matters of importance to the FACE program.</li>
<li>Works toward National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation for the program.</li>
<li>Provide a learning environment that is full of learning opportunities which reflecks the language and culture of the families.</li>
<li>Attends meetings as needed.</li>
<li>Participates on committees.</li>
<li>Supervises children in preparing for lunch and in the cafeteria.</li>
<li>Oversees children on the playgrounds during recess/noon hour.</li>
<li>Willing to attend professional development opportunities to increase job</li>
<li>Meets other requirements as a staff member of the school.</li>
<li>Reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work.</li>
<li>Support the classroom teacher as needed.</li>
<li>Able to travel to and attend required training that are position related.</li>

<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong><br />

<li>Normal working hours are from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. May work additional hours in various activities for children and/or parents.</li>

<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong><br />
 <p>As part of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Title l Paraprofessionals must have a secondary school diploma or its recognized equivalent and meet one of the following three requirements to be employed in a  Title l  program:</p>

<li>Obtained a working knowledge in reading, mathematics, and writing by completing two years of study (48 semester hours) at an accredited institution of higher education, or</li>
<li>Obtained an associates (or higher) degree, or</li>
<li>Met a rigorous and objective standard of quality, which includes a North Dakota approved assessment of skills in reading, mathematics, and writing</li>
</ul>
<p>Individuals holding a North Dakota educator’s professional license meet the requirments under ESSA and the teaching license number could be used in lieu of the paraprofessional certificate of completion number.</p>

<li>Serves as a backup to the HR Benefits Administrator on administering various employee benefits, such as life accident (AD&amp;D), medical, dental, vision, disability, workforce safety and insurance (WSI), Job Service Unemployment, FMLA, supplemental, retirement, COBRA, and EAP.</li>
<li>Conducts and schedules new hire orientation and interviews.</li>
<li>Communicate with all applicants’ regarding position, selection, or non-selection of a position.</li>
<li>Responsible for contacting drug-testing facility for new hire drug testing(s).</li>
<li>Enters new hire and selection information upon receipt.</li>
<li>Responsible for I-9 employee eligibility completion and collection of proper forms or ID’s.</li>
<li>Responsible to maintain all applications, from acceptance to hiring.</li>
<li>Participate and assist the HR team on training&#8217;s campus wide for all staff within the UTTC organization: through development and implementation of training, manuals, and orientations. <strong>  </strong></li>
<li>Responsible for answering the phones in the HR department, provides information to callers or transfers calls to appropriate personnel.</li>
<li>Provides general knowledge of employment laws, policies &amp; procedures, and practices.</li>
<li>Creates files, posts and advertises all positions in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Responsible for Background checks being conducted and maintained on all employees.</li>
<li>Is responsible for the receipt and payment of ePR’s.</li>
<li>Pulls reports, creates new hire orientation packets, and maintains office supplies.</li>

<p><strong>Summary Of Duties:</strong><br />
 <p>The Parent Liaison (PL) serves as a bridge for communication between Solen and Standing Rock High Schools and the parents/caregivers of students attending those schools. The PL ensures parents/caregivers receive the information and support they need to help their children succeed in their education. To achieve the goals of this position, the PL will perform the following duties:</p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as main point of contact among high school students, parents/caregivers, and the Solen and Standing Rock High Schools</li>
<li>Establish and maintain regular communication with parents/caregivers via phone conferences, in-person meetings, and a monthly newsletter focused on school-related activities and events</li>
<li>Attend school-held community events and encourage parent/caregiver participation in such events</li>
<li>Attend monthly school board meetings</li>
<li>Conduct daily follow-ups with parents/caregivers on students who are tardy or absent from school</li>
<li>Coordinate meetings between parents/caregivers and school personnel as needed</li>
<li>Assist parents/caregivers in the request for services process</li>
<li>Follow up with parents/caregivers to assess services used</li>
<li>Provide data regarding parents’/caregivers’ perspectives of project services to Evaluation Administrator</li>
<li>Work closely with the Standing Rock and Solen High School Student Success Coaches</li>
<li>Complete weekly check-ins with the Monarch Project Coordinator</li>
<li>Attend Monarch Project Advisory Council (MPAC) meetings</li>

 <p>The Student Success Coach (SSC) supports students attending Solen High School in the achievement of their educational goals by connecting them with the resources and services they need to succeed. To fulfill this role, the Student Success Coach will perform the following duties:</p>

<li>Establish rapport and maintain regular communication with students attending Solen High School</li>
<li>Attend school-held community events and encourage student participation in such events</li>
<li>Work with students to identify needed educational support services and resources</li>

<li>Communicate needed support services to Parent Liaison for parent/caregiver follow up</li>
<li>Work with students to assess services used</li>
